In GnuCash, employee vouchers are a feature within the Business module used to track expenses employees incur on behalf of the company, acting like internal expense reports or reimbursement requests, allowing you to record what the business owes an employee for business purchases made with personal funds or company cards, and then process payments for those.

They help manage employee reimbursements, not directly payroll, by creating a record (like a bill) in Accounts Payable (A/P) that gets paid later from cash or a company card, making it clear what the business owes.
