Scheduled transactions in GnuCash are templates for recurring financial events, such as subscriptions, insurance payments, or loan payments. They automate the entry of these repetitive transactions by setting a start date, frequency, and other parameters, so you only need to enter them once. When a transaction is due, GnuCash can either automatically create it in your register or remind you to do so.
